Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 4 November 2026
1. Who you are buying from
VintageThing is a brand operated by Gabrielius Ramanauskas trading as HipBos, a UK sole-trader business, with orders and returns handled personally by the owner in Lithuania.
Business correspondence: 62 Sandling Lane, Maidstone, ME14 2EA, United Kingdom.
Customer service: ask@vintagething.com.
Our returns address is Ramuvos g. 18, Alytus, 62441, Lithuania. The UK address above is for business correspondence; goods are dispatched from and returned to Lithuania. See our Returns and Refunds Policy before sending an item.
2. Products and pre-owned condition
We sell vintage, pre-owned and other accessories as described on each product page. Check the photographs, condition notes, measurements and included accessories before ordering. Pre-owned items may show the wear specifically described or pictured. Colours can appear differently on different screens.
Please compare measurements with an item that fits you. A labelled size and a measured fitting range can differ; contact us if anything is unclear. We will not treat a description or photograph as removing your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
Original retail packaging is included only where the listing says so. Packaging that was not supplied is not required for a statutory return.
3. Prices, display currency and payment
The price and available delivery charges are shown before you place your order. Prices include taxes where applicable. We do not charge an undisclosed compulsory fee after you have committed to purchase.
You may choose another currency to see an approximate equivalent. Display conversions use reference rates and are estimates. Checkout prices and charges are in EUR. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rate or fees.
Available payment methods are those offered at checkout. The payment provider must authorise the transaction. We do not promise a particular card preauthorisation amount or exchange rate.
If we identify a genuine price or description error before accepting your order, we will contact you rather than charge a revised amount without your agreement. If we cannot supply an order we have already charged, we will explain and refund the affected payment without undue delay.
4. Orders and acceptance
Please check your items, delivery address and contact details before ordering. We accept your order when we send your order confirmation email. A later shipping confirmation tells you that the goods have been dispatched. We may contact you if stock, payment or an address needs clarification.
Products can be one-off items. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will tell you and refund any payment for the unavailable goods. We will not substitute another item without your agreement.
5. Delivery
Orders are dispatched from Lithuania, usually within 24 hours after payment is received. Dispatch time is the time before the parcel is sent, not the delivery time. Available destinations, delivery options, charges and delivery estimates are provided during the ordering process. Contact us promptly if an agreed delivery has not arrived. Any mandatory remedies for delay or non-delivery continue to apply.
Goods remain our responsibility until delivered to you or a person you nominate, subject to any applicable legal exception for a carrier you independently appoint. An order being handed to our carrier does not by itself transfer that responsibility to you.
Where delivery to your destination attracts import VAT or customs duties, you are responsible for paying those applicable import charges, except amounts already collected at checkout. Such charges depend on the destination and are separate from the delivery charge. Any applicable charges that can be calculated in advance must be disclosed before purchase; where they cannot be calculated, the possibility of additional charges must be disclosed. Please contact us before ordering if the information for your destination is unclear. This does not transfer any tax obligation that the law requires us to fulfil to you.
6. Cancellation, returns and faulty goods
Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains statutory cancellation, faulty or misdescribed goods, and our additional 30-day returns offer. Statutory remedies are not restricted to that voluntary period. Sale items retain their applicable statutory rights.
You do not have to give a reason to exercise a statutory change-of-mind cancellation. Contacting us for help or a returns reference does not make our prior approval a condition of that right.
7. Personal information and Shopify
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is used and how to exercise applicable rights. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information about visits and purchases to provide its services. With Shopify Network Intelligence enabled, those services may use information about interactions with this store, other merchants and Shopify, subject to applicable consent and privacy choices. See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and privacy portal.
8. Website use
Do not use the site for unlawful activity, fraud, malicious software, interference with the store, or infringement of another person’s rights. Website material may not be commercially reused without permission unless the law permits it.
We aim to keep information accurate and the site available. If you spot an error, please tell us. This does not remove our responsibilities for the goods and information we supply to you.
9. Responsibility and consumer protections
We remain responsible for losses for which the law makes us responsible. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.
Disclosed pre-owned wear is assessed as part of the description and circumstances of a sale; it is not a blanket exclusion of product quality, description or other statutory obligations.
10. Complaints, governing law and updates
Please contact ask@vintagething.com with your order reference and the issue so we can investigate.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, while preserving any mandatory consumer protection that applies in your country of residence. They do not require a consumer to give up a court or remedy available under applicable law.
Changes to these terms will be identified by their effective date. The terms applicable to an accepted order are not retrospectively replaced merely because this page changes. Any change required by law will be handled as the law requires.
